ST 4/12: Mid-term in Berlin

by

Next week our Statistics and Evaluation Section will have its first mid-term meeting in a long, long time.

Or is it the first one ever? The sessions at IFLA itself tend to be hurried – and consumed by practical and administrative matters. I look forward to have more time for professional discussions with a cool cohort of colleagues.

The draft agenda looks as follows:

12:15 Light Lunch

13:00 Begin

  1. Welcome and introductions
  2. Adoption of agenda
  3. Adoption of minutes of SC meetings in San Juan, Puerto Rico, August 2011
  4. Reports of Chair [Ulla] and Secretary/Treasurer [Tord]
  5. SC-Members: Presentation of current statistics-related professional topics, developments and challenges from participants’ background
  6. Future Priorities and focus activities of the IFLA-section
  7. Strategic Plan for the section 2012-2013 (may be continued on Friday)
